PC System Trainer:


 

This course contains computer hardware trainers and peripheral device trainers.  It develops practical skills for hardware technicians, systems integration, peripherals repair and systems software.

This course also includes basic workshop which provides general services to the technical student to develop basic practical skills such as soldering, mechanical assembly and general skills that are required for computer technicians:

  • System Resources (I/O, IRQ, DMA, Memory etc)

  • Theory of operation

  • Peripherals and Ports

  • Mass Storage

  • Troubleshooting (CPU, Hard Disk, BIOS, VGA card, Power supply etc.)
CRT Monitor Trainer :

  • Theory of CRT Monitors

  • Installation, Resources, theory of operation.

  • Setup and Display configurations.

  • Troubleshooting (RGB signal, Hor. & Ver Sync, system control, CRT, Power supply etc.

LCD Monitor Trainer :

  • Theory of LCD Monitors

  • Installation, Resources, theory of operation

  • Setup and Display configurations

  • Troubleshooting (RGB signal, Hor. & Ver Sync, system control,PLL, A/D, D/A, DC-DC Converters,  Power supply etc.

Floppy Disk Drvie Trainer :

  • Magnetic data storage theory, drive construction, data recovery basics.

  •  Installation, Resources, theory of operation

  • Data storage system

  • Troubleshooting (Stepper, Spindle Motors, sensors, Data transfer, controller, power supply ,...etc)

Hard Disk Drvie Trainer :

  • Magnetic Storage development, compression techniques, data recovery basics.

  • Installation, Resources, theory of operation .

  • Data storage system .

  • Troubleshooting (Voice Coil Motor, Spindle Motor, DSP, Controller, Data transfer, power supply etc) .

CD-RW, CD-ROM, & DVD Trainer :

  • Compact Disk Theory, data compression, recording/burning.

  • Troubleshooting (Loading, Slide, Spindle Motors, DSP, Interface port, Data transfer, power supply etc)

Dot matrix (Impact) Printer Trainer:

  • Dot Matrix theory and construction.

  • Troubleshooting (Sensors, CR & PF Motors, Head circuit, Interface port, Data transfer, power supply etc).

 

Laser Jet (Non - Impact) Printer Trainer :

  • Laser Jet Theory and construction, toner.

  • Troubleshooting (Sensors, Polygon Motor, Main Motor Image transfer circuit, power supply etc)

 

Ink Jet (Non - Impact) Printer Trainer:
