This course covers the principles of Ultrasound system, focus on the maintenance  and troubleshooting.

At the completion of this course, the trainee, will be able to:

• Demonstrate an understanding of the physics of sound.

• Demonstrate an understanding of basic ultrasound theory.

• Identify the charactristics of the acoustic waves.

• Describe the parts of a basic ultrasound scanner.

• Identify signal flow and label system block daigram.

• Identify the Probes and their uses

• Understand image quality as it pertaiins to ultrasound

• Demonstrate the operation of the Ultrasound

• Perform QA checks

• Perform the PM checks on Ultrasound Machine

• Perform the Networking  for Ultrasound network.

• Troubleshoot an ultrasound Scanner.
